I am an Assistant Professor at Hasselt University, Honorary Lecturer at the University of Stirling, and affiliated at KU Leuven (Department of Economics), the University of Edinburgh (Center on Constitutional Change), UCLouvain (CAPE) and CESifo.
My research spans the fields of public economics and political (behavioural) economics, with a specific focus on socio-political attitudes and (fiscal) federalism.
