His research spans the fields of public economics and political economy, with a specific focus on political extremism, behavioural/identity economics and fiscal federalism.

I am an Assistant Professor at Hasselt University, Honorary Lecturer at the University of Stirling, and affiliated at KU Leuven (Department of Economics), UCLouvain (CAPE) and CESifo.
